As I work with families, I am always trying to emphasize what is important right now in the developmental process of their child’s skills… and what groundwork needs to be put in place to prepare them for the next level of competition.
This is important for every player of any age or skill level. Player Development is always about getting what you need now and also being prepared for what you will need at the next level of your development.
My job with every family is to guide the process and the structure of development to ensure step-by-step, the things are being addressed at the right time.
Be sure you are getting the foundation of knowledge and the critical steps needed to successfully navigate your child's path to what is next. If your child is in the 4th grade, entering high school or a rising senior, it is important to understand how to accomplish his or her next basketball goal.
Think about it. What if you could discover just how good your son or daughter could be playing the game of basketball? What if you could discover the step-by-step “how to” for making it happen? What if you could learn exactly what coaches are looking for when putting their teams together?
